PETRONESA SDN BHD (PSB) is a subsidiary of Yayasan Sarawak where YAYASAN SARAWAK owns 60% equity in the Company, KALAMARS SDN BHD, a local Bumiputra investment Company, holds 30%, while the other 10% is owned by an individual.
Incorporation of Bormob Oil Sdn Bhd (the original name of the Company) was on 21 September 1987.
Co-operation with Mobil Oil Malaysia Sdn Bhd began in early 1988.
The cooperation with Mobil lasted for about two years and ceased on 31.12.90 due primarily to logistic problems.
A distributorship arrangement with Petronas Dagangan took effect in March 1991. The national oil company has logistic set-ups at every strategic location in the country and therefore convenient for product liftings and better pricing mechanism.
